it's april 2007 and we're in the basement of a house near rock creek park, recording live psychedelic jams under a yet-to-be-determined name. before this we'd been doing abstract soundscapes...these had now morphed into more guitar-based sounds. sample from the first disk

the second disk captures some sessions from may 2007...the energy of spring infused our playing...the ghost of Skip Spence smiled down upon us...also on this disk is a powerful jam from later in the summer; august 25th to be exact. sample from the second disk

disk three is the perfect set of jams from a monday in june 2007...it starts out mellow and introspective then goes into a rocker then we drift up into a twinkling sky of guitars and down into samples and fuzz of all sorts, capping it all off with a total electric guitar catharsis. sample from the third disk

music: obetrol

obetrol was the name of the prescription amphetamine used by Andy Warhol in the sixties. OBETROL's sound is a high volume storm of spontaneous ideas expressed via drums, bass, guitar, samples, and treated vocals. you can hear the tracks from our self-released CD-R (recorded 2007-2008) on our myspace page
